‘Classic black-and-white elegance marked the street style outside Paris Fashion Week.

Despite the unusually hot sun bearing down on the French capital thanks to a heatwave, the style set managed to keep it chic in monochromatic tones and luxurious textures.

Vogue Paris editor Emmanuelle Alt and model Freja Beha Erichsen headed to town in noir, with Alt’s lace shoes and fringed jacket making the ensemble anything but boring and Erichsen’s choice of hue lending her simple singlet-and-jeans combination a sense of sexiness.’
