Published: Cold-season colours at New Zealand Fashion Week

‘Whimsical colour blocking ruled both on and off the catwalk at New Zealand Fashion Week as designers, models and media broke with traditional winter colours at the showing of next season’s collections.

Held last week at the Viaduct Events Centre in Auckland’s Viaduct Harbour, New Zealand Fashion Week’s winter 2012 collections featured brightly coloured anoraks and jumpers for men, and vibrant dresses, pants, shirts and even shoes for women.

Bloggers and models were spotted in combinations of salmon pink and black, lime green and yellow, and mustard and chambray, while inside, Zambesi paired fluoro yellow with electric blue in a collection of sporty-chic silhouettes.’
