Pieces to transport one to the surrounds of Byron. No wonder I’m feeling homesick. Looking forward to a magical Christmas here in England filled with lights & hot roasted chestnuts, but that doesn’t mean I don’t miss the sun…

fashion week faves: stolen girlfriends

The theme of a forest was explored in this collection, in both its day and night incarnations. The day versions featured bright silks and a lush green print of orchards and rivers on menswear and womenswear. An open shirtdress and a singlet thrown over wide-legged printed pants emphasised the feeling of a relaxed walk in the garden, and a chambray denim shirt with white sleeves for men reflected the fluffy white clouds and blue skies projected on the wall behind the catwalk.

Day turned into night though as the forest print was reflected in midnight blue, and where chambray was used before, dark denim now featured. The colours of the night also featured in a black one-sleeved dress, draped over a teal satin waistband. A floaty black chiffon blazer reflected the spooky mood brought by the ominous projection of a crow. - Annette Lin
